Adware Win32/Rugo is the program that will facilitate for the delivery of advertising contents to that of the affected user and in some other cases it also gathers information of the affected victim. Installation of Rugo Adware
When Win32/Rugo is installed, it performs some of the actions such as
- Drops the file into ‘<system folder>\-4-1283564’
- Drops the file into ‘”%windir%\1.tmp’. This is a kind of file called NullSoft Installer.
- By running the ‘C:\WINDOWS\1.tmp /S’ it installs the previously dropped installer silently.
- By running “C:\WINDOWS\system32\cmd.exe /c Del <malware_file”, it deletes itself.
