Description of KeenValue
KeenValue is the adware that is distributed along with the software from the eUniverse websites such as mycoolscreen.com, cursorzone.com, myfreecursors.com and thunderdownloads.com. When surfing the internet, it will display the popup ads that will cater to all of your interests. It will collect the Web surfing data, pages and websites that you will view, system settings, IP address and click responses to the ads. All the information collected will be used for advertising. It is 69632 bytes long and is packed with the UPX file compressor.
Installation of KeenValue Adware
When the program is run, the worm will copy and create the mutex called “ertglddfgd” and copies itself directly into the windows system directory with the file names such as smss.exe, winlogon.exe, services.exe and csrss.exe and then sets up the startup key for those files in the System Registry.
Symptoms of KeenValue Adware

System’s speed comes down: when infected with KeenValue, your system slows down and takes lots of time to restart and internet speed is slowed down as well.
New shortcuts will be appeared on the desktop or else the home page will be changed: it will tamper your internet settings, redirects you from your homepage to other websites, and adds new shortcuts on the desktop.
Popups keeps on appearing: even when you are not connected to the internet, you will get popup ads and will track the browsing habits as well. E-mails will be sent from your mail id even without your consent.
