Description of Gator Adware

Gator is an adware, which is most controversial program of all times. Once the system is infected with Gator, getting rid of this will be very difficult and it takes longer duration as well. This program will deliver ad content to the user and usually it is annoying but unless and until it is combined with trackware or spyware, it is harmless. Trickler will be installed y the third party software. While installing, variants of Gator uses the registry Run keys as Launch point. For storing the temporary files, it uses ‘%temp%\fsg_tmp’ directory
